Beko FN240. Fridge not working. Freezer OK

Hi

I have a Beko FN 240 fridge/freezer with freezer at the top.
The fridge has stopped working recently, I was away when it happened but I think it was a subtle lowering of the temperature so more and more food went bad. It is now slightly below room temperature but hardly.

I believe (though not certain) that changing the setting on the thermostat (it goes from 1-10 rather than specifying in C) made it work better for a couple of days.

There is still a low humming noise from the applaince, though I can’t hear a ‘click’ every once in a while, as people on other posts have been asked to listen out for

Any advice?

edit: There’s also a trickling noise coming from the back and the compressor is hot to the touch
there was quite a lot of frost in the freezer and a lot of food and a crack in the door seal, could this have lead to it going wrong?

more than likely a system problem to be fair

call someone in to do a system check.. not something you can do yourself
