    My freezer suddenly stopped working at the weekend. The freezer is still plugged in and now a red light has lit up in side the freezer. Any idea what’s wrong?

    can you hear the hum of the compressor running? If so you more than likely have a serious problem that may not be cost effective to repair. If you cannot hear it running, it may only be a thermostat or control problem. Hard to be sure without more details.

    There’s no noise coming from the freezer at all, does this help?
