Beko fridge door handle cover replacement

I want to replace the handle covers (I believe the p/n is GR/ARC549) on my Beko GNE114610APX refrigerator as the finish is scraping off. Do you know where I can find instructions for that?

Do these covers just pry out or is it a more complicated procedure?

Is it practical to paint the covers instead of replacing them?

Do you know where I can find a service manual that shows an exploded view of the handles?

Looks like they are still available send an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk Dave should be able to help. Don’t forget to quote the model number.

It looks like all that’s needed to remove the old one is a fine blade between the cover and the handle.

Do I insert the blade at the bottom of the cover to release it, or somewhere in the middle to pull it out from top and bottom?

Also, any opinion about painting these things? The finish isn’t terribly durable and I’ll probably have he same issue again in a few years.
