    I have changed the thermostat but now the f/f continues to run constantly. the freezer temp is -36 and the fridge temp is -10. Anybody have any suggestions please?

    why did you change it out of curiosity ?, and if it wasnt doing it before the chances are you have wired it wrong, easiest way to tell is if the light goes off when you shut the door

    I changed the stat because it would not turn on, then it would not turn off. I controlled it by physically flicking the contacts in the stat.
    The light comes on when door is opened.
