I recently purchased a senor replacement kit for my Beko fridge freezer and am unsure as how to fit the sensor kit and where the part is located on the fridge freezer. The Beko model number is CDA648FS/1 and the sensor kit reference number is 4394720185. The upper part of the fridge is permanently freezing and it makes no difference whatsoever when the control knob is set to minimum, everything in the fridge is freezing solid. Please could somebody give me advice as to where the sensor is located and also how to fit the part?

I’m pretty sure the sensor can’t be replaced without ripping out the insulation. You should replace the small pcb that’s at the rear of the FF at the top behind a plastic cover. If that doesn’t cure it replace the potentiometer inside the fridge where the light is. If that fails it’s a write off.

You can replace the sensors in those machines, there is a way to do it and there’s a bulletin on it.

If the OP can email Dave on spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk with the order number I’m sure he can provide that bulletin that shows the process. It’s not step-by-step as such as it is intended for field service but it does show roughly what to do.

Those boards are hardly ever the problem IME.
