Bought a Beko fridge freezer from eBay for £80. Very good condition, defiantly looked after. From a decent person also.

Got it home and connected it up 24 hours after moving it. Works well, got down to temp very fast.

But after a few days now, I’ve noticed that it hasn’t stopped making the compressor / fan noise, even with the dial on “Min”. In fact, the ice on the back of the fridge is building up quite fast, and noticed frost appearing on the veg. Some water bottles in there haven’t frozen though.

It felt warm on the side at first, but I checked all the sides and it’s cool now.

I asked the previous person if the compressor always ran with them, and they said “If you mean the noise, then yes it’s always done that”.

I read that this could be to do with not enough gas inside and struggling to get to temperature, but it’s cold enough inside.

I found the fault, I’ve bought the sensor and found out how to replace it.

    Thanks for all your help.

Hi JoeCoop, I have the exact same problem. How did you locate and replace the sensor please?
