    Hi
I have a Beko fridge freezer, its the one with the 4 drawer freezer and fridge on top.
what happened is I thought the fridge was too cold as it started forming ice at the back. I turned the temperature regulator which is on the top of it to minimum, now the green light to indicate power on doesn’t come on and the fridge is heating up, its not hot inside it just doesn’t seem to cool down enough, even if I turn the temp to max cooling.
the freezer works fine but when I feel the grills at the rear of the unit the bottom half is cold and the top half feels warm.
Any ides of what this could be, i thought it might be a thermostat but as I’m no expert this is only guesswork.
just for information the light on the inside of the fridge works ok as well, if I turn the switch to off the light goes off and when turned on it works but the temp regulator doesn’t.

    Help please

the green light is a neon for display power on does do nothing apart ffrom glow green and waste electricity.

It will form ice at the back without it it wont work.

I would turn the thermostat to midway and forget all about it.
As long as it cools the fridge dont worry

    Re: Beko fridge freezer problem

    It’s ok guys.
I had a look at some of the similar problems within the forum and followed advice, I removed the freezer panel inside and used a hairdrier to melt the ice, dried it off put it together and switched it on and this morning it’s all cold again.
Excellent, I was worrying, aint got the cash to get a new one at the mo.
If I need a thermostat any advice as to what type I need?

Thanks for all the help, thanks for the forum
