Beko fridge freezer problems

defrosted the Beko fridge freezer which is in an outhouse. It was working ok before i defrosted it, but after it had been defrosted it is not freezing food any more. There is a thin layer of ice forming on the top shelf but the food is staying soft. It is about three year old and has been in outhouse for over a year.
