Gentlemen
In the past week or so the fridge compartment has started becoming excessively cold with the temperature dropping down to -1.8C, even with the thermostat turned right down to minimum. The fridge still cycles but the upper temperature seems quite variable. The freezer compartment also appears to be colder than previously at around -18C. Previously I recall it tended to be around -12C. In addition, I now find that the thermostat in the freezer compartment is seized on ‘3’ and does not want to move without being forced. Could it be frozen up, although there is no build up of ice visible?
Any idea of the likely problem and is it a relatively simple fix or time to look for a replacement?!
