    I have a Beko CF5834APS

The fridge part isn’t working. Freezer seems fine.

Compressor seems hot and the coils on the back of the fridge are hot to the touch in places (predominantly the pipe leading from the compressor up the rear side to the top of the coils)

Historically there has been a build up of ice on the back of the fridge. I researched it here and it sounded like a replacement thermistor was probably needed. However I left it and just chopped this ice away every now and then. It got worse recently with some items in the chiller draw freezing and alot of condensation gathering in the bottom of the fridge and freezing up.

The last couple of says the fridge seems warm and not working. Any suggestions as to whether my delay in addressing the freezing fridge has caused a more terminal problem with the compressor or if it might be thermistor related still. I’ve read about replacing the one behind the insulated back but if there’s no point now I’ll go straight to a new fridge freezer.

    Thanks

    I have a similar problem with a CFP1675.

Fridge is not cooling, freezer is working.

I have found the bad advice mentioned here https://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/…er-thermistors
and tested the control board, it was fine. I noticed a strange things, if I shorted two connectors going to the board, the fridge started to go cold again.
This is the control board which is internal to the fridge and within the light unit, all it does is send the temperature selected to the PCB, it is similar to this one.

I also tested the fridge air sensor and it is fine,

Sorry I can’t help any more, I’m not sure what to try next; the main control board for £50 or sensors in the freezer compartment.
