Hi, first time using this forum so apologies if this is posted in the wrong place!

I have a CFD6914APB Beko fridge freezer and the fridge is really cold it’s freezing my food, it’s on the lowest setting! I’m looking to replace the sensor/thermostat and was wondering where to find the part I need and any advise on changing it over? I have managed to locate the thermostat module but looking at pictures online of what a thermostat should look like I can see this isn’t what I need!

    Thanks in advance

the fridge sensor on this one is foamed into the cabinet

although some people have found a way of doing it, by cutting out the foam and resealing it, and finding a similar sensor . The manufacturer does not supply a part to fix this

Thanks for your reply Dave, is there anything I can try to increase the fridge temp slightly? I’ve ordered the thermostat module, hoping that may fix it..

the only possible way is to alter the resistance of the sensor by adding resistors. if its open circuit or short then this wont work
it will only work if its just gone out of calibration
cant even come up with possible values as this unit is on the crossover to electronics and the manual only talks about old style stat

what it does say is if sensor is sensed as bad then it goes into timed mode 20min on 30 min off
