Hi I’m new to this forum I have a frost free freezer and recently it’s stated playing up the internal fan spins then stops like it’s got power and then it loses power so it’s defrosting my freezer and my fridge doesn’t seem to be cold any ideas thanks in advance

I guess it’s a bit late to help you on this but I have had a similar problem, the compressor and fan start up just after being plugged in then later fail to restart when they cycle off.
I found the supply voltage on the electrolytic capacitors on the PCB was down at 2.9 volts. the 1 uf dropper capacitor (Blue oblong thing) was down to 0.1 uf. As soon as it was replaced all worked as normal with 5 volts across the capacitors. This is the second freezer I have fixed with the same problem.
I will warn you, these boards are at mains potential, unless you know what you are doing you could kill yourself!
