    Hi there

I have a broken electrode on one of my rings on a Beko DVG9621 Gas Cooker.

I have sourced a replacement for about £5 and it looks like it justs comes out and connects via an electical lead with some sort of bayonet fixing.

Can anyone advise how to replace.

Is it a straight forward case of just pulling out he old one, which I’m guessing will be followed by a length of wire and the connection?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    rules is rules, im afraid

if you wanna try it, its your call, but since the hob top needs to come off, it involves some gas work, so we cant advise you

its one of the easiest jobs around, just cant tell you how, sorry

Re: Beko Gas Cooker Model DVG9621

I have now fitted a new Electrode to the dodgy burner but that hasn’t solved my problem.

Through trail and error and switiching around a couple of the electrodes that are sparking I’m now pretty sure that it is the unit that sends out the sparks that is faulty.

I believe this may be called the ‘ignitor’

Can anyone offer some advice on where I go from here.

    Cheap spares etc.

    Cheers
