    Hi. My first post here.

Just over 2 years ago I bought “Beko QSE224X Black & Stainless Steel Single Multifunction Oven & Induction Hob Pack”. Today the induction hob started to make weird cracking sound. I recorded a small sample of it. It is still working, but I am afraid that it will have to be replaced soon.

Is it still safe to use it? Humming and cliking sounds are fine but this crackling is a bit worrying.

    Thanks for help.

from what i can see there is one main board on this unit
in a lot of induction hobs they use one board for 2 rings so if the noise was only on 2 it would point to that board.
in your case its most likley that board

as a long shot remove the terminal cover and check the mains wiring screws are tight

Switched the cooker fuse off. Removed the oven. Jiggled a wee bit the cables to check if they are tight – they were. Switched the fuse on and the hob doesn’t make the crackling sound any more (on all for rings)! To be honest I have no idea what was wrong but I think that simple switching fuse off and on again would fix the problem. Thanks!

    Update: The problem came back.

It has stopped making noises. Don’t know what’s going on to be honest.
