    Why would I be mad? the last one cost me £169 and has lasted 6 years and provided faultless service and never failed to clean a dish.

    not if I resell the new motor

    And even if I don’t its still better value than many other makes.

    A neighbour is interested in my old dishwasher. If its not the motor what else could be causing the fault?
