Hi,
I have a Beko 71442 7kg 1400rpm washing machine
I loaded it as normal, chose programe, pushed start and as I was walking away there was a popping sound, a blue flash of light from by the LED screen and it tripped my fusebox. Turned machine off at mains and reset fusebox but when I switched the socket back on there is no lights on and seems no power.
Please can anyone suggest what the problem might be
Thanks
this is a catastrophic failure with one of boards for some reason. with a fault like this not only would the board probably have to be replaced but another components may have caused it
is the machine subject to condensation where it is as it seems odd its gone on one of the coldest days
you will either need professional help or a new machine from looking at your description
Thanks for othe reply Dave, as far as I know it’s not subject to condensation (none appear on the windows) but it is in a unheated outroom.
It hasn’t only just happened it was back in May, unfortunately I’ve been away looking after a terminally ill relative and have only returned to my house recently and now able to deal with it.
Figured it would be just my luck for it to be a major fault, guessing it’s likely to be almost as expensive to have it looked at and repaired as getting a replacement?
Thanks
