Sorry 1st time poster. Its a Beko WM6112W automatic . Also put it on to spin to empty what water was in and it drained for 5 seconds ,stopped for 10 mins then ran again for a few seconds (not spinning just pump running)
First port of call is the filter behind the flap or behind the plinth which just pops off. Unscrew it carefully as there will some water in there which may need towelling out, some versions have a drain hose to help you.
Once you have unscrewed the filter make sure there is no obstruction to the little propeller in the filter housing.
Probably the motor brushes have worn out or split and jammed. Alot of the circuit is wired via the motor so any fault such as nuked brushes wikl cause or can cause the problem you describe. If the pump pumps and when it pumps there is a ggood stream of water coming out other than a very rare fault with the pump the pump should be ok. I would have a look at the brushes after the pump.
