    Hi all,

The wife left the filter out last week, it ran for about 20mins then stop turning.

The belt is fine, I changed the resistor still no joy.

She lights up and when you press start button, you can hear the motor but it doesn’t spin.

I’ve tried to manual turn drum but it doesn’t move. (can/should you be able to manually)

Any ideas before intake it to the tip?

    Thank you

    Model number ???

    Resistor…….do you mean capacitor?

You should be to turn the drum by hand with moderate force.

Just tried the drum manually, with huge force it moved about 2 inches and made a horrible ‘screeching’ noise!? Could the motor have seized?
