ParticipantCalled today, found fan blade hitting the circular oven element, the blade clearance against heater when cold is about 1mm to 2mm. when hot clipping element, I was thinking of putting a smaller blade on fan.
As anyone come across this issue and can advise of best option please. JohnOctober 30, 2015 at 6:39 pm #432047johnnyj

Found that a belling fan blade does the job, let me out anyhow on one occasion.

if you look at picture of this common fan motor, the fan blade can be used to let you out of a hole, not as big & wont catch on element.November 2, 2015 at 8:16 pm #432053rocker

I’ve got an oven with this problem, fan blade catching the element.
It is clearing the newly replaced element but only just.
The motor needs replacing too but is supplied without the circulation fan blade.
Noticed Seamy’s post with part number— 081581800.
I am finding that this comes as a belling fan motor but no circulation fan is shown.
I have belling circulation fan blades in stock but they are quite a bit smaller than the original Beko.
I ‘me wondering if you were referring to a blade a bit nearer the size of the beko but the there was an error in the part number supplied.
Thanks in advance for any replies / comments.

TomPart number refers to a common Belling fan motor that most Engineers would stock, it comes with a fan blade & fan motor, just use the fan blade out of the Belling box which is not as large & doesn’t run tight to element.

The other thing to be aware of is the new fan motors have an earth tag on the bracket that isn’t used ,in some cases we have had a vibration through the back panel after fitting a new motor and fan.
Just remove the tag and it goes away -
