Beko OIF22300 Oven – fault

The oven timer is flashing and the oven is constantly beeping. The timer setting buttons do not operate.
The oven was not being used when this occurred.
Unplugging the oven for over an hour has no effect. Please can anyone advise me on repairing or recovering the fault.

I had a look at the technical on this and, there would appear to be no other explanation for the behaviour other than a faulty timer or clock unit that we list here:

Obviously that cannot be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} guaranteed but, I’d be pretty confident that was the culprit here,
