    Hi All,
    Having just changed the element due to not heating and fan because it was sticking I tested the oven and all worked OK, however I went to cook yesterday and the oven will now not stop heating. The thermostat can be heard clicking but the heat light doesn’t go out. The grill however does stop heating and heat light does go out? I’ve checked all the connections on the oven and all seems OK?

    Any help would be appreciated as I was looking forward to a roast today!

    when you turn the stat down does the fan stop ?

    Hi Dave,
    Thanks for the reply. I’ve just done a bit more investigation and it seems it’s my fault. Everything worked OK initially which is what was strange. One of the spade connectors at the selector knob was touching another so the element was getting a permanent live feed.
    So I’ll definitely be having a roast today!
