Participanti have a beko OIF21300W Oven has stopped heating up. I have changed the element, still no heat. The fan works. I have taken the top cover off, and there are 3 wires going into the timer, blue, white and brown. i have power to the brown and white.
Think i have set the timer correct???

i Have take the back off, when i turn the control knob to any setting there is power to the heating element, the fan at the rear is spinning fast and the fan on top of the oven is going round slowly.

Power to the element but what of the neutral return? If the cooling fan at the top is running slow then chances are the overheat thermal cut out has failed? Check that out.

If you have power to the element then you will need to test the new element to check it is not faulty.
If the clock was faulty then the fan would not work.

Many of your comments are vague and pointless in many of your posts. Please enlighten us by being a little more specific as to what you mean in this case? We’re striving collectively in trying to help the guy out here after all.

Check the neutral connections in your terminal block it sounds like when you have opened the rear panel you have disconnected a wire

I will take it out of the housing and strip it down and look tomorrow. But the grill still works, so maybe wiring ok ???

Just because the grill element works it doesn’t follow that the fan element should
These elements are one of the simplest to fit and so long as you put the wires back on terminals in the same places it should work.July 16, 2016 at 1:28 pm #439309plumb1

ParticipantRe: beko oven not heating up
Hi Martin, i think you could be correct ??? when i strippped it down again on staurday i did notice there where small electric sparks(arching maybe a better term) when i turned the oven selector knob round. Seemed to be coming from the contacts.
