Our Beko dishwasher recently failed; we noticed it was running a full cycle, but seemingly not heating the water at all. I replaced the flow through heater, but that’s not helped (have also now checked the old heater, and it’s reading 27ohm or so, so not open-circuit)

When tipping it over to swap the heater, some water leaked out from the storage tank on the side. It smells awful. Surely this isn’t normal?

After a bit of Googling, I’ve booted it into diagnostic mode and it’s showing Er3 and Er4. However, I can’t find anything conclusive online as to what these mean? The user manual is also totally useless! Short of calling Beko to ask them, I was hoping someone knowledgable on here might be able to advise?

3 is a heater fault 4 is a turbidity sensor

check the wire from the heater to the board and look at the relay and soldered joints for signs of problem
