I am currently reconditioning a Beko American fridge, i have it plugged in for over a month now and the front display is reading -18 and 4 degrees. Everything appears ok.
I have a thermostat in the fridge and my question relates to the temperature on the different shelves of the fridge. In the veg compartment it is 0-1 degrees. In the middle it is 4 degrees and in the top it is reading 7-8 degrees. Is this normal?
On top of this i have put the thermometer in to the diffuser and all im reading is 11 degrees is this normal? Or would i need a new diffuser?
Thanks
Re: Beko side by side fridge AP930x temperature query
Yes it is. Freezer is working properly. Does it sound like the fridge isnt functioning properly. I ran the service test and no faults came up. When you open the fridge door you can hear the diffuser flap close
Re: Beko side by side fridge AP930x temperature query
Thanks Bob, that would explain the diffuser. Is it natural to be 0-1 degree in the bottom of the fridge. I put a bottle of water in the bottom of the fridge it would be frozen after a few days. If i put it in the middle its fine
