    can anyone help?
    beko wm1512
if you put the washer on a hot wash, say,no. 3 it skips the heat cycle and goes stright round to no. 5 without heating.
is it the pcb module or the thermistor/stat that is faulty?
i know its not the timer as i have tried a new one.

Be very wary of this, most Beko washing machines do this, the timer will take in the setting when the customer makes a program’ selection, they will then advance to wash, this looks as if the timer is faulty but it is the way its designed. Take a look at the user manual & its mentioned there. If however it is not heating i’d be looking at ‘stat/thermistor problem, if the element checks out.

thanks for that, seamy, the elements ok.the stat resistance is about 4.5kOhms at 18 deg. C. which i’ve been told is about right.
i was thinking maybe one of the relays on the PCB may be open circuit.

    Hi

Quote from page 9 of user manual

To start the programme ,press the ON/off button. The indicator will light and the closed door will be locked in a few seconds. The programmer knob will rotate and advance to the correct point to commence washing. This is a normal function of the programmer ..
