    Hi All

I’ve just moved in to a rented property, which included a Beko TDA 531 fridge/freezer. However, it appears that while the inner portion of the fridge was cleaned, there was a lot of gunk and mess in the drip / evaporation tray at the back of the fridge, on top of the motor.

Very keen to get this tray cleaned (and for the kitchen to stop smelling of bad cheese!).

The Instruction Manual talks about a lug to depress with a screwdriver. Cannot obviously see any ‘lug’ and have tried a host of different things but can still not get the tray to come free off the motor!

Does any body have any idea or experience of doing this? Your help would be much appreciated. Apologise in advance if this is rather obvious…

    Thanks

i have just had to remove my drip tray from my beko fridge, it is a different model to yours but the method could well be the same.
the lug that is depressed on mine is situated in the center of the tray at a point where it sits above the center of the motor, by pressing this lug down it dissengages from a clip that is fitted to the motor you can then draw the drip tray out towards you.
    hope it helps
