Customer called to say this freezer wasn’t freezing properly and temperature alarm light was lit. I was thinking gas problem? Any other possible faults cause this on this Beko model?

Could be any number of things. Fan, defrost heater, sensor, thermal fuse, pcb. Could also just be a buildup of ice. Low on gas would be one of the last things I would guess. Really need more information ie is it iced on the evaporator?

Freezer was totally defrosted and switched off when I arrived. Took inner back panel off and ran freezer for 15-20 mins, but no frosting or cooling on evaporator. I assume no gas in system. Compressor and fan running ok.
