    Hello there,

    Has anyone else had problems with the Beko CA5411FF/CA5411FFX?

    Of late my freezer part of the unit is not freezing properly, ice cream that was frozen is coming out liquid, bread and meat is softening, pizza’s becoming limp!

    Not to mention the weird rattling, whirry noise that seems to come from it 80{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time?

    Any suggestions as to what it might be? Is there a simple likely fix, or is it more likely going to be expensive….of course it’s just out of warranty!!!

    Compressors appear to be a regular issue on these budget machines. One of the fridge lads will be able to advise your more fully tomorrow.

    yup, itll be a weak pumping compressor

    quite common

    id throw it and buy a proper one , and not an indesit/hotpoint thing either

    Hmm, don’t really have the cash to buy a new one and I’ve only had it a year. Any idea how much a new compressor and labour will cost?

    I really liked the small neat size of it (and it’s silver) any recommendations if I am forced to buy an alternative?

    Well I just spoke to them, not impressed I’m afraid.

    They will charge £30 for a call out fee, £45 to tell me what the fault is (ie it’s not working!) and then charge me for labour and parts on top!

    Despite the fault having been intermittant within the 12 month period (I’ve just put it down to me not shutting door properly), which I now know definately not to be the case, they are unwilling to take this into consideration.

    I am loathe to pay £75 to be told my fridge doesn’t work and then have to pay x amount on top for a repair. I may as well buy a new one, which goes against my principles, it’s not exactly environmentally friendly 👿
