I have an 18 month old Beko TZA 6016 fitted with a door alarm which normally only sounds if the door has been opened for more than 30 seconds or so.

I have a problem in that the alarm keeps going off, for long periods, even with the door firmly shut.

I have checked the door seal, there are no fault codes showing on the display, temperature appears to be fine.

Any one have any ideas how to either fix it or disable the alarm?

    Thanks

    Matt

I too have just encountered this problem! My freezer has always worked fine but this afternoon it started beeping. Now it won’t stop and the red light is coninuously on! I have tried switching it off and on again but nothing works. As far as I can see, the door is closing properly so I don’t understand the problem. Its an Integra AFE 295-K/2/G product number 850729515080.

Any help would be grately appreciated

Has the door dropped from it’s original position – ie has the gap at the topof the door increased?

Doesn’t look like it – I had a good look at the hinges etc last night, however it might be worth another check – freezer is in the garage (well insulated) so I will have another look tomorrow night.
