Hi, we have a Beko TZDA524F used as a spare freezer which sits in our garage and the door wasn’t closed properly resulting in a total defrost and loss of all food. After removing contents, we shut the door but now it no longer freezes. We have since unplugged and left for a few hours to see if this would reset but when plugged in, the green light comes on with temperature showing (Min = -18) and then it flicks off and on every few seconds with a faint clicking noise. It has done this before and I can’t remember what we did to get it to freeze but we did get it working. I have tried the fast freeze button which when depressed flashes -27 with a beep and amber indicator but when released disappears reverting to green light on flashing -18 and then off every few seconds. Condenser at rear bottom of freezer is warm to the touch.

    Any ideas appreciated.
    Thanks,

    Any ideas greatly appreciated.

does sound a bit like a board fault

    Would that be worth repairing/replacing?

    possibly

board part no should be 4308600685

with the age of it it may be worth trying the board power supply first. on the board is a large blue capacitor probably 1uF x2 type. This give the board its power and they are cheap so wortn a try if you can solder

Is there a recommended place to buy the part as it’s not available from the spares section on this site?

if its the capacitor then ebay or amazon

if its the part then look around for someone who has stock
