    Hello
    Please could you help me. I have a Beko freezer which has been very good, until this morning when the red light came on. The compressor starts to run, it runs for about 30 sec. and stops. The compressor housing at the back is very hot ,I could only put my hand on it for a few seconds.

    Any suggestions welcome.

    I’m afraid it’s almost certainly the compressor that is failing.

    It would be more economical to replace the freezer to be honest as a new compressor would cost £150-£200 to replace.
