Hi, The top compartment of our freezer is at -21c, the warning light is off and the door seal is ok and the compressor is running fine. But the compartments below are all to warm at around -6c to -9cc. The 2 top cooling shelves are very cold and have a thin layer of frost on them. The other cooling sheves are not very cold and have no frost on them. If I turn on fast freeze the upper compartment temperature drops to around -31c and the other compatments stay at around -9c. I have searched the internet but cannot find whats going on. Thanks in advance for any help. mark

As this is a simple upright freezer I’m struggling to get my head around how the top can be colder than the bottom – it seems to defy physics! As the lower coiling coils are not getting very cold it does sound like a refrigeration fault unfortunately. Doubtless other more knowledgeable members will confirm.
    🙁

    Yup, system fault.
