When I moved a Beko UFF4584w under counter freezer for someone recently, a sticky, rubbery black checkered rectangular part fell off and I don’t know where it’s come from. I pretty sure it’s just with the warm weather it’s just drooped off and is easy to reapply and wondered if anyone might be able to tell me where it goes. I think it’s part number ‘Beko Bitum Drip Tray Gromet-Te 121YT’.

I’ve contacted Beko with a photo and dimensions, but they also want a photo of the underside of the freezer, which I a) think is a bit much and b) I can’t do so until Sunday and need to get it sorted on Sunday.
If it helps, I can post the photo I sent Beko.

    Thanks for reading!

there is a drip tray mounted on top of the compressor for defrost water

as for the photo of the underside be careful if you tilt it too far you will have to let it settle for hours before y turn it on

can you post photo of part on here ?

Thanks Dave. Beko have subsequently emailed again and say:

“Upon looking into this with our spare parts team, I can confirm that the part you are querying about fits at the bottom of the drip tray just above the motor, the drip tray needs to sit on the sticky pad.”

I assume they mean the condenser/evaporator fan motor, but am hoping there might be some sticky residue to give me a clue. I might be able to get the serial number tomorrow, as it belongs to a relative. I’ll keep you updated.

drip tray is glued to the top of the motor so the heat will evaporate the condensate
