Hi
I wonder if someone could give me some advice regarding a problem I am having with my Beko W91440W Washer Dryer. A few months ago the dryer stopped heating up, so I had a look and I found one of the re-settable thermal cut outs attached to the heating element chamber had tripped, I reset it and everything has worked fine since until a couple of days ago and the same cut out tripped again.
Every time I reset it, it trips again after only 3 or 4 minutes of the drying cycle starting. I have now checked everything I can think off, cooling fan, cooling fan intake, heating element channel, hot air fan and the door ntc. The only thing I have not checked is the condenser as I would literally have to strip all the dryer parts out to get to it.
I am now out of ideas why it would keep tripping except for one thing but I do not know if this possible, can a re-settable thermal cut out go bad and trip at a lower temperature than rated?
If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Rich.
