This is a weird one, the dryer isn’t working even though the stats, heating element and fan motor checked out. All it does that the machine went through the cycle, did the drain out and some rotation prior to attempting to start the dryer – the ring light symbol around padlock was flashing after the dryer failed to start.

There is one connection that looks a bit charred and it is on the motor board which is I believe it is unrelated to the dryer unless if I can get hold of wiring schematic. Looked at the main pcb, looks clean to me. My gut feeling that I am not looking hard enough on the main pcb although the charred connection on the motor pcb on three point connector – red/grey/white – it’s the red one that is charred at the connector. Can anyone confirm if this is related to the dryer? I have not been able to test it due to very limited space in the plant room and it is very warm which was why a washer dryer is being used. If it is the plug that is causing the problem, I guess a new wiring loom is needed rather strip each wire and replace with individual connector (the latter seems to be the easiest option)?

since its got a heatsink on that board i think thats the motor board. chances are those cables go to the motor

will try and upload manual but main internet is off for a few days so i may struggle
