Hi Guys, according to customer, Machine is cutting out on cotton drying program, leaving display blank. When switched back on it is on a cottons wash program. Clothes are coming out wet on drying program, usually when not completely dried and are put on for extra 30min dry cycle they come out wetter than they went in. Any ideas?

Hi Dave in what respect? It is heating and making the clothes hot.

so its evaporating the water so air will be saturated. assume you have airflow otherwise it would not heat so are you getting water flow to the condenser ?

its the blank display that’s throwing a spanner in the works. get problems like that on some machines due to earth leakage but it does have makings of either a board fault or mains failure. Have you been there when it went off and if yes have you checked for power into the machine from socket ?

Hi Dave, airflow is fine, water valve to condenser activates during drying cycle and pump drains water intermittently too.
Have not seen fault described by customer, but don’t think power cuts out, just display goes blank. Machine washes and spins clothes ok on wash cycles. It’s just the drying program that’s the problem.

Hi Dave, turned out it was airflow. Fan blades were choked with fluff .
