Beko washing machine door not locking

Hi this 3 yr old Wmb61431b wont lock the door I’ve swapped out the interlock no joy , main board fault I take it , no sign of any burning on it anyone come across this thanks

Must be mechanical door problem (handle/spring), interlock, lock wiring or PCB.

does the lock work if you activate it with a screwdriver ?

No nothing and changed for a new one still nothing

replaced board today , turned on m/c and heard a loud pop from the board ,,, can afaulty door lock blow the board , it still lights up and the door will lock but nothing else happens

they used to blow plenty boards on hotpoint s

If the PTC or plastic supports short out then the lock triac usually takes a hit.

Surely if the triac was blown ,, no operation of D/L

Correct, if the door locks then the locking triac is likely to be ok.
Sounds like a short somewhere else in the machine which would only blow when the lock thermal switch closes.
Any damage visible on the new board?

nothing not a jot , no caps domed no soot marks
