    Hi

I’ve been to look at a Beko washing machine, WMB91442W 12-408987-09. The machine was originally stuck on 28 mins and in a drain – stop – unlock – lock cycle which constantly repeated. The PCB has been changed and now programs can be selected and changed.
Once starting a program, the machine fills then drains and repeats. The blue resistive pressure switch does not seem to be changing resistance when it is blown down.
Could there also be a problem with this switch? the resistance across the 2 outside connectors is roughly 22.4 ohms and does not change.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Many Thanks

    Paul

the modern pressure switches are a variable reluctance not resistance (so resistance wont change) and i have been told if you blow in them you can destroy them

    Thank you for your reply.
Can someone please advise and explain how a pressure sensor metalflux actually works?

From an E/Lux manual (but the principle applies in all cases)…..
