I have a problem with my Beko WM74155LW. The motor turns but is interrupted immediately on any programme. Eg. If I select spin the motor will pulse once then stop. After a minute or so it tries again. After the third attempt the machine drains and then ends. It fills and empties fine but the programmes abort and something is telling the motor to stop as soon as it starts. I have cleaned out the filter, changed the brushes on the motor, tested the tacho for resistance and replaced the DC module but no change. Can’t see anything obvious with the drum. Anybody got any suggestions? It’s 2-3 years old.
Thanks for your reply. I tested the motor for resistance and seemed ok but I have not bench tested. Is there an out of balance measure on these machines that could interrupt the motor?
I had the same problem. Removed the motor tested ok taco tested ok.
Refitted no joy still same fault.
Removed motor again and on closer inspection found one of the wires to the taco was broken but the insulation was keeping the wire in place so it was an intermittent fault.
Fitted a replacement motor and the machine works fine now.
