Beko WD beeping and flashing prewash light

Hi I have a Beko WDIX8543100 which I had trouble turning on, once I did I started a quick wash and it worked but beeping regularly while flashing the prewash light. I couldn’t turn the machine off using the on/off button so had to let it run.
It did seemed to do everything ok.
Can anyone help me out on this one?

well if there was an error i would expect an error code

this is more like a programmer problem

first thing i would do is disconnect the heaters as we all know odd earth faults can cause all sorts of odd faults

after that i would open the board and look to see if any of the caps are bulging

Just a thought. I’m not familiar with the particular model, but on a lot of Beko machines, you can’t cancel the programme, unless the selector is set to the programme that is running. If it has been moved, then it’s a case of select each programme, and try to cancel until you find the one which works. It should however restart normally, once the programme has completed on its own.
