Beko WDA91440W Washer Dryer

Has any one come across this fault before?
At the end of the wash cycle it displays the message “waiting to cool down” and doesn’t release power to the door lock. This cooling down Process can take up to 12 hours +.

The manual only says;
• Loading door of the machine may not be opened due to safety reasons. >>> If “wait to cool down to open….”
warning is displayed, machine will keep the loading door locked for your safety until it cools down. You can accelerate
cooling by running any 10-minute drying programme.

Has the air intake filter been cleaned?

Presume if its not still hot that there may be a sensor issue giving info’ that it is still hot and preventing door from opening, just a thought.
