Beko Wdr7543121 door lock

Hi can anyone -lease tell me what the extra door switch with the white plunger is on the Beko wdr7543121 is for, does it stop the display from working until the door is closed? Cheers Allan

don’t know but switch was removed on later models so whatever it does Beko decided it was not necessary

cant see it switching off the display

have you got a no power problem on the board ?

Yes nothing, dead, have power to board.

cant see it being the switch and anyway you could check the switch for continuity

whats the power supply on the board transformer or switch mode chip

if its switch mode look for the fusible resistor and see if its blown. normally 40 to 80 ohms or so
