Hi Dave thanks for your support. Really appreciate. Do you think i can keep running thd machine with the gest mode trick or it’d going to break it?
anyway i checked on line and all ghe stores have my pcb out of stock.

chances are the only difference between the boards is sofware but i cant be certain of what will happen if you use it

I know this thread is quite long in the tooth now but did anyone ever solve the issue with the replacement PCB / double beep / only works when you go via test mode issue? It’s quite likely we’ll replace our dryer in the near-ish future so can live with the workaround in the meantime but good to know if anyone cracked it. thanks!

assume you mean Washer /Dryer not just dryer

looked up the fault code and all it says is change lock , if that fails check wiring, if that fails change board

also dont forget you can probably get that fault code if you leave the door open an d then if the machine has no other fault the code will stay in memory so it will seem like its a current fault

as a long shot i would disconnect the dryer heater and wash heater elements and see if it makes any difference
