Beko WDX8543130W — goes dead soon after starting

I’ve read through the 7 pages of a previous problem on here, like this but this is different……..

This machine will start on any setting, fills up then before it turns or heats the display shuts down and it just sits there…… if you turn it off then & back on again it lights up straight away and you can start it up again…. then it does the same thing??

The cx complaint was actually “with 6mins left it made a few awful banging noises and stopped” …… I haven’t got that far yet…..

I’ve tested the heater and motor, both seem good, so I’m thinking its the main board as it’s doing something really strange?

Any ideas please?

Yes about 5mins into any program the machine just shuts off, no lights, no sound…. must still have power going to it though because if you press the power button it comes back to life….. very strange?

well it does sound like a board power supply issue. it sounds like it try to heat and dies

does it work on a rinse programme when there is no heat

have you checked heater for earth problems

if all fails you could try changing the board power supply chip
