ParticipantPlease Help!!
My washing machine is new and ive only used it 3 or 4 times. But now when i tried to wash today, i put it on the normal cycle and hit start. The ready/wash light comes on, but nothing happens… ive tried other cycles and i get the same.
Does anybody know what i need to do?Thanks
Danny

Hi,
It is shut, like i said its only a month old. i switch it on and the light flashes on the End/Cancel, so i press start, and the wash light comes on but nothing happens.

Is it fitted with a time delay facility? If so check this has not been activated accidentally.

Ok,back to basics. If the door is closing correctly, the time delay is not activated or any child lock switched on.Check the water supply is on and that there is no kinking in the inlet pipe.If all these are correct contact the supplier as it is a new machine and will be covered by a warranty.

Try reading the user manual.
Many many many people, hold in the start button to start it, it just needs to be pressed once!
If you press it too long it either pauses the programme or cancels it altogether.
Under the start button it says “Cancel hold in for 3 sec’s”, some misread this as to start you must hold in, where as you just press button once to start.October 14, 2013 at 7:46 pm #402751Danny_Swede
