ParticipantHi my washer is playing up when you turn it on the ready light should come on but instead the wash light comes on,it will then either fill up and do nothing else or it wont fill up at all, if you pause it and select drain to empty sometimes it will and other times not.I have had the motor out and checked the brushes and they are fine whenput the motor back on and tried it it worked ok but today its acting up again, any pointers to what i should do please . It may be a board fault depending on the number of LEDs that machine has on it. Does the light flash or is it constant?

The wash light is constant and when pressed it flashes in pause mode but the ready light should be on. Tried it again today and it filled up then thats it nothing else happens, flicked it over to empty and still nothing .

I think, from what I can see, that the machine is telling you that the heater is open circuit, easily tested with a meter.

Hi ive tested the heater for continuity and my meter bleeped so thats saying the heater is ok but am still not getting it to work. All it does now when you switch it on is run the pump for a few seconds then zilch . Is there any other test i can do on the heater as i have seen another post about a beko and they too were told to check the heater, cheers Elfy

Check the motor brushes, it won’t start a prog if they are worn out

Check the drain pump impellor, as if it gets obstructed, it will give the electronics o the unit to play up and lock programmes. Quyite a common fault with this model.
