    hello
not sure if its board or motor. set prog to spin press start and motor tries to go full speed then cuts out if you set wash prog then machine fills to normal but same again. no flashing lights just ready to start prog again.
tacho is ok and readings from motor seem ok
anybody point me in the right direction please.

    It’s probably a tacho fault?

Have you tried ‘Advance Search’ on the subject?

Tech questions should be posted in Trade Technical not General Trade by the way! 😉

It could be both it could be one, depends on which one tests faulty, if motor tacho has been tested properly and is ok, its the PCB, if not its the motor.

Beko advice to there agents is to change both,as there has been an issue with both causing loss of motor speed control, but there biased to you using parts whether you need them or not.

Its unlikely to be both, but you never no, everything on a W/M can become faulty, there is no such thing as a standard fault with a symptom, some confidence and knowledge is the key to a successful repair.

I think there are some threads on here about tacho magnets cracking on Beko’s.

    Thanks Allan and Martin

yep it was a cracked tacho magnet, got a reading from it and thought
it was ok. next time i will remove the cover and look with my eyes and not just rely on my meter ( should know better after 30 years)

sorry for posting in the wrong section Martin but not used to this new layout yet.
