Hi I’m a complete novice when it comes to electrics but basically I live in a shared house and we havea beko wm5120w and having put 4 bath towels (nothing else) in the wash yesterday the machine has buggered, basically the electrical noise is crackling then the machine just goes dead. It was in the middle of a cycle when it went deadso there’s still water in the machine, I had gone to work when it was on the cycle so I’m not sure what happened.

Is it certain that I overloaded the machine or could it be another problem?

    Thanks

Maybe just the brushes on the motor or a bad connection elsewhere.. not a huge or expensive job..
