I’ve got a beko wm5140s board with a blown triac (numbered tc6) and a couple of blown resistors.I’m pretty sure these relate to the drain pump but I could find no sign of blockages in the pump so I’m wondering if the pump’s are known for blowing boards on Bekos ?

Have you checked the pump coil resistance? It may have gone s/circuit

Main motors are a bit of a weakness on Bekos. Wouldn’t let the apparent link to the pump distract you from thoroughly checking everything else. Also any sign of water getting into anywhere it shouldn’t.

    Thanks for the replys 🙂
Mike are you saying the motor (or even the interlock)could take the pump triac out,I did look at the motor quickly but didnt get the megger on it ?

No, but you said, “I’m pretty sure these relate to the drain pump”, which suggests a level of uncertainty 😉 . Anyway, the only pump failure I ever came across causing a triac to blow was one that had jammed solid due to water leaking on to it and causing it to rust to the point of disintegration.

I see where your coming from Mike,I’ve found that I’ve got a secondhand module for that model so I’ll try that after first inspecting m/c properly. 8)
