Beko WM6355M Control dial

Hi my partner has a Beko WM6355M washing machine that the control dial is next to impossible to get to the right setting when she is turning it. There is a digital display on the machine and when she wants to turn it to a spin (22 on the display) its basically down to pot luck and she could be there for 5 minutes where the display could range from any number by turning dial. Also the buttons for turning the machine on/off etc are slightly pushed in and is there a way to align them back up?

It sounds like someone has pushed the buttons too hard and dislodged the circuit board from its clips.

I can fix the buttons but it’s the dial that is temprimental where we can’t get it on to a program.

It’s the switch behind the dial ,also check pcb edge connectors

So you think the dial mechanism has come loose from its housing?

If I remember correctly, The dial has a plastic “thingy” behind it that has to be located into the dial the correct way. If this is not located, it will still turn but the program selection will be random.
